David Scotland is an internationally recognized blue chip artist and also the producer of Werner's current film project for which I (Randall Blaum) am the director. I want you to visit David's website. There is a lot more to him than most people know, and this will give you a glimpse into his mysterious, wondrous world of the man who is the founder of the New Art Movement for the 21st Century called Companionism, which deals with the electro-magnetic oneness we all share (and then some!). He goes into further detail at the official blog for Companionism. The World Premiere of Companionism opened on June 8, 2006 at the Portland Art Museum starring David Scotland, Tucker Smallwood, and Jana Cole. The event was filmed for the ongoing filming of a documentary about the artist, his art, and a very special mission that is unfolding -- parts of which will be in Werner's new film!
David has created a very special art series for the Mount Everest Summit (and it's still not even CLOSE to being finished!) and one of the pieces was an original prayer flag that Werner took all the way to the top of Everest for the world's first and highest-altitude energy art exhibition using David's highly unusual method of creation. In fact, his art has undergone studies at Arizona State University's physics labs showing beyond a doubt that David's art is actually able to increase the strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and endurance within the viewer (or in Werner's case, the wearer)!
